On rare occasions, a seller encounters a buyer with whom they have a very negative experience. In that case, they may actually fear the buyer bidding on their goods. Perhaps the buyer is late with payment, or the buyer left negative feedback to the seller on something relatively minor.
The banned feature protects the seller's goods from being bid on by anyone the seller "bans". We don't expect this feature to be used much. It, does, however, give the seller a bit more protection.
Go to the member center, click on Ban/Unban bidders. Enter the username or email address and click "Ban user". To take someone off your list, click the box next to their username and select "Unban Bidders".

What Is A Reserve Price?
If a seller specifies a reserve price for a particular auction, he/she is not obligated to sell the item for less. If the high bidder's price does not meet the reserve, he/she does not have to complete the sale.
The seller specifies the reserve price when he or she lists an item, which is an amount over the minimum bid. Then when the auction begins, it will start at the minimum bid amount that the seller also chooses. During a Reserve Price Auction, a notice will be displayed on the listing page next to the item's current price.
World3Bid.com's will never disclose a seller's reserve price to bidders. When a bidder's maximum bid is equal to or greater than the reserve price, the item's current price is raised to the reserve price. At this time, the item information will indicate that the reserve price has been met. The bidder is also notified that his or her bid met the reserve.
What is a Dutch Auction?
A Dutch auction is an auction of 2 or more identical items. All winning bidders pay the same price, which is the lowest successful bid. For example, if a seller has 3 of a particular item available, and the bidding goes like this:
Bidders A, B, and C will get the item for 28, the lowest successful bid. Proxy bidding is not used on Dutch auctions.
What is proxy bidding?
An automated bidding system where a bidder may enter a maximum price and the auction system will increase his/her bid as necessary until the maximum is reached.
For example, Bidder A is the first bidder on an item whose starting bid is 1. He/She places a maximum bid of 10, which the system holds in confidence until needed. The system places his/her initial bid. Bidder B places a maximum bid of 8. The system automatically bids for Bidder A and Bidder B until Bidder B's maximum bid (8) is surpassed. Since Bidder A's maximum bid is higher than Bidder B's, he/she remains the high bidder.
Our system automatically figures bid increments.
mistake on my bid!
Contact the seller. The seller may (but is not obligated to) retract bids by going into the auction and hitting retract bid/buyer. Placing a bid makes a binding contract in most states.
My picture isn't showing up!
If you are entering a URL for a picture, then you must be sure that your URL ends in .gif, .bmp, or .jpg. If your URL ends with anything else, then chances are, it is not an image. Our software can only nest an image into your auction, rather than an HTML encoded page.
Think you've got the HTML page instead of the image? Then look at your page, find the image, right click on it. If you see options to save, email, and print picture, then you are on a page of an image rather than the image itself. If you don't know the URL to your image, you can view the source code of your html page to find out where the image is located.
If you are loading an image directly from your computer, you may have encountered a connection break during the upload process. This is more likely to occur if your image is very large. A good, fast loading image will be between 5-20K, and will ensure that many visitors will get to see your picture.
What is spam
World3Bid.com's policy prohibits members from sending spam, which is defined as an unsolicited, commercial email. Further definitions: Unsolicited - it must have been sent without the permission of the person who received it. Commercial - it discusses the buying, selling or trading of any goods or services.
Waiting for a seller to contact me?
It is suggested, but not required, that members involved in a transaction on World3Bid.com's contact each other within five business days after the listing ends. This does not include weekends or holidays.
Please note that an emergency, illness, or computer problem may keep the seller from contacting you immediately. If the seller doesn't respond to email messages, you can request the seller's phone number.
If you are unable to contact the seller via email or telephone after a reasonable amount of time, you are no longer responsible for purchasing the item. At this point, you might consider leaving feedback to alert other buyers about your experience with the seller.
